Organic brain damage with ASD (2 stages)
mother of Afanasy 5.5 y.o Kharkiv Ukraine

I am the mother of Afanasy Liznichenko, 5 and a half years old, Kharkiv. Diagnosis: organic brain damage with autistic type behavior. Retrocerebellar cyst of the brain (behind the cerebellum). For the first time, the professor came for treatment at the end of January 2024; at the time of the start of treatment, Afonya was 5.3.

Before treatment, there was no pointing gesture, fine and fine motor skills were poorly developed, there was moderate aggression and auto-aggression, he poorly understood addressed speech, did not dress or undress himself, there were many stereotypes, tics on the face, he was disobedient, restless, capricious, whiny, he grinded his teeth at night, had bad breath, was very afraid of medical workers, and constantly picked at the cuticles on his fingers, which sometimes caused wounds to appear. It was very difficult to work with him, since he practically did not pay attention, was not interested in cartoons, and could only watch a cartoon about a kolobok, and not for long.

Organic brain damage with autistic type of behavior ASD, Afanasy Liznichenko 5.5 y.o Kharkiv Ukraine

Improvements appeared during treatment. At the first stage, a pointing gesture appeared, bad breath and night grinding of teeth disappeared, he became more diligent, calmer, he began to dress and undress himself, he began to eat more carefully, he stopped tugging at the cuticles on his fingers, he began to understand spoken speech better, he began to follow instructions better, he began to smile more, began to show interest in cartoons, began to play with his sister and obey her (before that he practically did not pay attention to his sister). At the second stage, auto-aggression and hetero-aggression decreased, the number of stereotypies and tics decreased, fine and fine motor skills improved, pincer grip appeared, the understanding of addressed speech and the execution of instructions continued to improve, and hyperactivity significantly decreased. We are very glad that we got to the professor, even if it was late. Before that, we had visited many places, tried classes using different methods, nootropics, diets, and dietary supplements.

We consulted neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, geneticists, immunologists… the list of specialists is very large, but they did not help us anywhere. The medications either made me feel much worse or had a weak positive effect that disappeared after a few weeks. And here is a lasting positive effect. I was treated (my mastopathy was completely gone, my blood pressure stopped rising, and my urinary pain decreased) and my eldest daughter (she stopped getting motion sickness in transport, constipation disappeared, became calmer, more diligent, and works out better).

We are very grateful to Professor Vagif Rakhmanov and the entire staff of the institute! I wish everyone not to give up, not to lose faith, to be strong, persistent, as well as new improvements for all children.
