Hello, I’m Svitlana mother of daughter Sofia 4 y.o. There is no diagnosis, but as I see it, speech and language developmental delay SLDD and impulsive behavior (stage 1) + one eye squints, pregnancy was constantly on edge, but there were no critical situations, they did a C-section. Development was going well, speech started up to a year and stopped, at 3 we went to a speech therapist, but they said it was too early, the ophthalmologist also said that in a month or two everything would be normal, that it was just weak muscles, before coming to the center we took a speech therapist course, they gave us a push to start, we began to repeat little by little, after passing the 1st stage the child began to repeat 3-4 words – I’m going to eat soup, a minimal dialogue question-answer began, a pointing gesture appeared, she became independent, assiduous — she plays, collects puzzles, mosaics, we can even sit quietly at the bus stop, she stopped walking on tiptoe, she began to communicate with the children very well, the dependence on gadgets went away (we almost never even turn on the TV, we constantly walk, the pool, the trampoline, housework), leadership qualities appeared, you need to be the first everywhere and “I do everything myself”. She takes care of animals, now she is the only one who feeds all our dogs and cats, helps around the house, puts away toys (without reminders).

Now we are undergoing the second course with a speech therapist (the speech therapist praises her very much, says that her speech has become much better) and are treating her eyes. My treatment opened my eyes to my life (I couldn’t do this for 5 years), you need to love and appreciate yourself. Irritability is gone, I have become calmer.
Thank you very much to the whole team!!
