GDD treatment (2 stages)

Hello everyone! I’m Katya mom of Mark and he have just turned 4 years old today. We’ve asked help to the Research Institute in 3.4 years in September 2023. Before treatment in the Institute he did not know much:

1. He was afraid of the pot in general, he did not even sit on it for a minute. At home I wore underwear, I peed like that and walked around in wet ones, on the street I wore a diaper.
2. ⁠He responded by name only 5-10 times when I asked him.
3. ⁠He was very hyperactive, there was not enough patience in the game for 2 minutes.
4. ⁠Slept badly. Could wake up in the middle of the night, cry and scream.
5. ⁠It was impossible to exercise, there was no concentration for a single minute.
6. He knew how to eat, but he was very lazy, always listening to cartoons, and I fed him.
7. Afraid of doctors and very loud noises (noise of chainsaws, noise of motorcycles, cars,
   loud music)
8. I didn’t want to walk: either ride a bicycle or carry it.

We turned to neurologists and a psychiatrist. They took nootropics, vitamins.

Two stages were completed: one in September, the second in April. After 2 stages, progress appeared, namely:

1. I started walking on my own. Walk a lot. Don’t ask for hands.
2. ⁠Concentration has appeared: the speech therapist works calmly for 40 minutes
3. ⁠Goes to the potty: I say for hours what I need to go to the potty, sat down, did the work, and makes it clear that I went to the potty. And that’s how a couple of days ago I realized that it is necessary to remove wet underpants, pants and socks as appropriate.
4. Learned the colors, gives the correct felt-tip pens, plasticine.
5. ⁠Learned to ride a bike-motorcycle in the center.
6. ⁠Ceased to be afraid of doctors and hospitals. He gets used to loud sounds in a couple of seconds and is calm about them.
7. Sleeps well, falls asleep quickly.
8. Responds to the name faster.
9. Invents different scenarios with toys. Interested in new things: children’s tableware, dolls.
10. He has studied English alphabet.
11. Names some colors, some animals, some shapes
12. Began to repeat more movements, emotions, even some words.

But closer to the age of 4, a crisis probably began: when I raised my voice, a slap on the ass, I gave a pass, in response
slap me He doesn’t always listen, forbidding hysterics. But I hope that it will pass with age.

In general, there are many changes for the better, but maybe not as significant as described above. Yes, there are as many of them as you would like, but they are there. With each step, we will go to the goal little by little. Further more!
