Hello everyone, I’m Masha, Maya’s mom 3.5 years old, diagnosed with Down syndrome. We completed the 3rd stage of treatment with a professor at the Research Institute. I would like to share my feedback and our successes 🙂 In the middle of the 1st stage, Mayusha started walking down the street in heavy winter overalls and boots, it was a relief for everyone 🙂 and upon arrival home, we gave up the stroller! Before stage 2, Maya had non-verbal requests, the tantrums passed, because she could show me what she wanted, she also learned to drink from the bottle herself (tilt her). Before stage 3, Maya developed an interest in animals and birds, it is a pleasure to watch a child who runs after pigs and goats with a smile from ear to ear, I shoot everything on camera, now we are happy to review all this and rejoice) requests also expanded, I turned on logic, memory has improved, remembers his home, the houses of relatives, the location of the development projects, even the stops where you have to go out. She is making very good progress in swimming and gymnastics, her gross motor skills, gait have improved, she started to run. Maya’s snot disappeared before it was her weak point, they could not end for 2 and 3 months, which we just didn’t try, endless cuckoos, drops, antibiotics, I was waiting with horror for autumn … and here already November and all ugh – ugh, although I pour cold water over her every evening and she walks at home and sleeps naked, visit the pool. Mayu also went to the mass kindergarten 🙂 Relations with the children have changed, she loves to watch and interact with them. At the third stage, Mayuha became obedient-obedient) the chaos in actions disappeared, she waits for me, does not run away, all the time I have to walk by the handle and keep up. Comprehension of the addressed speech improved. Also, new sounds and sound combinations began to appear, I began to “mum” – I’m happy 🙂
We would like to express our gratitude from our whole family to the professor and all the staff of the institute 🙂
