ASD treatment (stage 2)
father of Vladislava’s 5.7 y.o, Ukraine

I’m Vladislava’s father. She is 5.7 years old. We started the second stage of treatment and finished day five. The result after the first stage during a 3.5-month rest at home: it felt like the child woke up, came out of her own world — I call it an awakening!!! She started looking directly into the eyes, responding to her name instantly. Speech comprehension came to around 80–90% — that’s a lot. Everything got better. Many small but very important changes: if something falls to the floor, she picks it up, fixes it, steps over it, etc.

Her attention and awareness improved. Her facial expressions changed, so did her arms and legs. Gross and fine motor skills got better. She started jumping from a chair to the floor — so cool and clearly! She started running better, faster, walking more. At the first stage in September, we either couldn’t or didn’t want to walk — she only rode the scooter ((((. But in the middle of that stage, she suddenly started riding it herself))).

New foods were accepted. She began understanding more, recognized where dad is, didn’t get lost in crowds or stores. And most importantly — she no longer leaves my side. Before, she could walk away in another direction unless you stopped her. Pointing gesture appeared too — still a bit unstable, but it’s there.

She started producing many sounds in her own way, though they appear and disappear. She began laughing, smiling, giggling — when tickled or when you make silly faces))). Became very active — playing around, throwing things from the closets, doing things on purpose to tease and then laughs. Teases, flirts, persistently makes you play tag with her, etc.

She learned to blow out candles, blows on hot tea or soup. Started looking cautiously at cats, became afraid of dogs, hides behind me — before she didn’t care at all. That means instinct for self-preservation has appeared. Looks at the sky and birds and smiles. Walks on windowsills, rips all the curtains — I scold her))) Cries into a pillow like an adult — I switch attention by tickling her)).

Started undressing only when I repeat the command. She points to colors quickly and clearly. Became more persistent. Gets cranky if something’s not going her way. To be honest, this is not the same child she was before — I can’t even adjust and get used to the change. There’s no more of that quiet little Vladushka who used to sit on the floor playing with plastic bags, bottle caps, sticks, and eating sand and pebbles 🥴.

Now she sleeps 8–9 hours through the night. There were regressions and aggravations during the rest, but she gets out of those states quickly. As for gluten and sugar — there doesn’t seem to be any clear reaction, even if she bites into a cookie or bun somewhere. But I don’t give her any of that — I’m waiting for even better progress and full recovery.

As for me — I had complaints about weather sensitivity. After acupuncture, it became less, though some still remains — but nothing like before: dizziness, numb hands and feet. Probably due to gaining 5 extra kg 🫣. Or maybe I just need to be fully relaxed during acupuncture — which I didn’t manage to do during the first stage (((. But it will pass, and it will get better.

A huge thank you to Professor Vagif Rakhmanov and the team for their hard work every single day!!!
