The tasks of the treatment process, including psychological and pedagogical measures, are the correction of behavior disorders, the activation of social adaptation in the micro- and macroenvironment, overcoming difficulties in communication, painful shyness in an unfamiliar environment, stimulation of cognitive (mental) activity, etc.

The treatment process is also combined with psychophysical and psychophysiological influences (the method of Professor V.M. Rakhmanov) during which intensive speech training is carried out. During medical and psychosocial rehabilitation, the suggestion is actively carried out, which consists of two parts: suggestion in a waking state, in free communication, and suggestion in a state of relaxation, including a hypnotic state (with the consent of the patients’ relatives and the patients themselves).

Observations show that patients with hearing impairments, despite having a correctly selected hearing aid (HA) and achieving maximum speech intelligibility, in many cases, due to a feeling of their own inferiority, experience physical and psychological discomfort when wearing it.
After the treatment and rehabilitation measures carried out, the perception of sound improves in many patients when using a hearing aid. To eliminate the phenomena of discomfort, the psycho-psychotherapeutic correction of patients is carried out.
The institute regularly hosts musical and literary evenings, occupational therapy, which additionally contributes to speech training, the development of hearing residues, social rehabilitation of patients with autism, and the autistic spectrum (circle) of disorders, neuroses, and other disorders.

The final stage in the rehabilitation of patients is to create maximum comfort for them, bring them closer to an active life and live speech, the formation of an adequate attitude to negative psycho traumatic socially unfavorable situations.
After treatment and rehabilitation, the patients are under the constant supervision of the doctors of the institute, who conduct supportive psychotherapy, electrophysical and other examinations of the patients of the institute.
Our latest achievements: full understanding of addressed speech, David speaks, makes sentences, asks and answers questions. Aggression and self-aggression have passed... I am now the happiest person on earth - my son is recovering before my eyes. Apart from the Institute, we are not being treated anywhere, no matter what happens next, I plan to bring David to the next stage of treatment here.
