We turned to the Professor at the age of 3.5 years with a diagnosis of global developmental delay (GBB) with autistic features (ASD) and many problems: didn’t go to the WC by himself, carried a diaper, stereotyped movements, there was no eye contact, did not respond to his name, vocalization, selectivity in food, did not sleep at night, had to be carried on hand and much more.
1st stage of treatment!
During treatment, the child began to fall asleep on his own, put on his own shoes, and eat on his own! After a week of treatment, we said goodbye to diapers!
I began to better understand the addressed speech and look into the eyes! A lot of sounds appeared, sometimes it looks like simple words, recently he said – Mom, this is not an addressed speech yet, but we are very glad that we started to say something. I started to vocalize less!
In the classroom, I began to understand the instructions better. He began to show interest in different toys, not only cars, earlier he was only interested in small cars! I fell in love with Lego, which builds different cranes, and towers from the designer!
After the 2nd and 3rd stages, the vocalization went away by 80% and the hand swings went away, David can easily walk down the street by my hand or by himself!
In the classroom, concentration has improved by 80% and there is eye contact with a specialist! He clearly responds to his name and when he is greeted he gives a hand or five! This had never happened before, he was on his own, he went where he wanted and didn’t see anyone in front of him until you stopped him and took him by the hand.
After the 2nd stage, I learned to ride a scooter, but somehow I got tired, I rode it more)).
After the 3rd stage, he began to ride in such a way that I can’t keep up with him, he makes such maneuvers as if he were not 4.9 y.o, but all 7.
He began to make friends with the guys and play a joint game with them, he needs communication and he is always nervous when there is no one on the court, which didn’t exist before! (He liked to be alone). He began to try different new foods, they are probably harmful, but sometimes we allow him to do this, as he himself shows interest and I rejoice in his every new achievement!
During the 3rd stage, he was very nervous, I was worried, and he began to vocalize more than usual, it happens, and I was told that it would be better at home!
So it was 2 months after the treatment, he began to try to pronounce sounds very clearly, he began to speak words of 3, 4 letters after a speech therapist. I didn’t want to, she reassured me, and said that it was normal!
I sat under the door and cried with happiness!!!
I can clearly hear his voice 🙂
It was my greatest desire to hear him speak.
Yes, there is still a lot of work and effort to be done! I believe everything will be fine!
We are going to the 4th stage of treatment and with great hope for David’s new results!!!!

Yes, it’s hard work, but it’s worth it!
