Stress during pregnancy, difficult labor. The baby was born 4 kg, for 40+ 5 days, 2 hours after the birth of our son, we were sent home (in the Netherlands, if the doctors think everything is fine, they send us home in 2-3 hours). From the first days, the child had signs that not everything was in order. I have my first child, they said to my complaints: “that is the case with many children, everything is fine”. At 9 months old, he began to beat his head. At 1.8 he stopped responding to the name, got carried away only with animals, he could sit all day playing with animal figures. After the birth of 2 children, he became aggressive, constant tantrums, pinched, tore his parents’ face.
After hearing tests, doctors diagnosed with autism. The child became uncontrollable, inadequate. Constant scandals at home, as the child, constantly screamed and beat himself on the head. I decided to fly to Odessa to my mother for help. We went to a neurologist, prescribed an MRI, a 9 cm arachnoid cyst of the right frontal part was found. In the hope of more qualified help, I returned to the Netherlands with an MRI. For a year, doctors transferred us from hospital to hospital, looked at the x-rays at the consultations, and as a result, we were denied surgical intervention, saying that the risk was high, autism was not associated with a cyst, that the child could become disabled. We went to Minsk for help, where in June 2019, my son underwent an endoscopy, punctured the cyst to relieve pressure (since there was already a deformation of the skull). After the operation, the child had different eyes, understanding of speech, adequacy, began to speak, but only separate words.
We arrived at the research institute to see Vagif Mamedovich when his son was 4.3 years old. With each stage of treatment, the son became more conscious, calm. After the second stage, I underwent encopresis, got rid of diapers and a pot. A year after the operation, an MRI was done, the doctors did not believe, the cyst with which my son had to live his whole life from 9 cm decreased by 5 mm! The neurosurgeon said it was a miracle! Today we finished the 3rd stage. The son develops new self-service skills, begins to eat on his own, quickly goes to sleep and sleeps all night, new words, more often a good mood …
