Hello everyone! I’m Julia mother of Alex 7.5 years old. ASD, ADHD, general speech and language delays. In July, we completed stage 3. We got to Professor Vagif Mamedovich Rakhmanov at 6.6 years old. In 2 stages, concentration, pronunciation, eye contact improved, emotionally he became much calmer. New words appeared in the everyday dictionary. At stage 3, he began to pay attention to the cars driving behind him and move further away from the road. Previously, he could not fall asleep for a long time in the heat and woke up at night, now he sleeps well and soundly. He began to observe the children more and repeat after them. He began to answer the questions Yes, No. Sometimes I have to ask several times, but I see how he listens to me and thinks about what to answer. And then a drawn-out yesss or nooo 🙂. The last time I went to the hairdresser, I sat quietly and watched the process, I didn’t cover my ears, I wasn’t afraid of the trimmer or scissors.
Before going to the Institute for the 1st stage, we only got our hair cut with a clipper and candy, if I saw scissors and a trimmer, I cried. The same goes for going to the lab to take tests. Last time we took tests, Alex was nervous, then he avoided the lab like the plague. But now he went in, fussed a little while they took the tests and calmly left.
Alex went to 1st grade. Today he comes down the school steps, looks for me with his eyes and comes to me with a smile on his face! And that’s great! He began to express his requests more in sentences. They are still a little destructive, but everything is clear – “ATB supermarket buy a bottle of water.” Previously, when the lights were turned off, Alex was very upset, cried, didn’t understand why nothing was working. Now he understands that all this is due to the lack of light, and the elevator does not work and you can’t watch a cartoon. He runs, checks the switch and calmly waits for it to turn on.
