Professor Rakhmanov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Honored Rationalizer, Director of the Research Institute of Child and Family Psychiatry. Vagif Mamedovich is the author of 274 scientific articles in the field of neuropsychiatric disorders, 7 patents, 3 inventions, 38 rationalization proposals.

The professor’s scientific work has had a significant impact on the development of medicine and the treatment of neuropsychiatric diseases: treatment and rehabilitation of autism and ASD, Global Developmental Delay (GDD), speech and language developmental delay (SLDD), psychomotor skills delay (PMD), cerebral palsy (CP), eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, emotional disorders, enuresis, encopresis, phobias, tics, stuttering, neuroses, somatoform disorders, neurosensory (sensorineural) hearing impairments (hearing loss, deafness).
