Good evening everyone… I’m Olga, mother of Elysey 5 .o we’re from Kyiv. Diagnosis is sensory-motor alalia, articulatory apraxia, we have completed two stages of treatment, in a week we are going to the third…
Before treatment my son:
• didn’t sleep at night,
• there was no spoken speech (babble was present),
• poor understanding of speech,
• bruxism (teeth grinding),
• problems with the potty,
• he simply did not notice children and animals,
• couldn’t show his nose and mouth,
• didn’t know how to ride a scooter or bicycle,
• chewed food poorly…
After two steps of treatment:
• the child sleeps at night,
• improved understanding of speech,
• bruxism went away, but now it has appeared again, but not as strong as it was,
• a lot of babble,
• learned to ride a scooter,
• periodically began to pay attention to children and animals,
• began to wipe his mouth with a napkin,
• gets sick very little,
• grew up,
• chews food better
He is praised in kindergarten, and teachers in class… say that he has become more attentive, collected, imitates well and tries very hard to speak, but it’s still hard for him 😔
