Professor Vagif Rakhmanov has won the title of Scientist of the Year for the third time — in 2026, following victories in 2016 and 2020. The competition is organised by the International Achievements Research Center (IARC, Montreal, Canada).

This year, Professor Rakhmanov won in the «Medicine & Health Sciences» category. The IARC expert council specifically recognised his contribution to the development of non-pharmacological rehabilitation for complex neuropsychiatric disorders.
Three victories in the same competition is an unprecedented result, providing grounds to consider Professor Rakhmanov’s proprietary methods a gold standard of rehabilitation on a global scale.
Among the other international awards in his collection is the «The Name in Science» honour from the 2012 competition. The Socrates Nomination Committee (Dublin, Ireland) presented him with a diploma and the «Contribution to World Science» medal on a blue ribbon. Professor Rakhmanov’s name has been entered into the World Register of Outstanding Scientists.

Behind the diplomas and awards stand thousands of treated patients, decades of research, and an unwavering dedication to medicine. For patients and their families, the international recognition of Professor Rakhmanov’s methods serves as additional confirmation of their effectiveness and safety.
