My name is Natalia and I’m the mother of Daniil who is now 5.4 y.o. We’ve completed the fourth stage of treatment with Professor V. M. Rakhmanov. The pregnancy and birth went well, the child developed, did everything according to average statistical norms. The only thing that always kept me tense was the lack of speech. After a severe enterovirus at 1 year 10 months, the child experienced a high temperature and severe stress in the hospital. The child’s emotional state changed. He did not respond to speech, he himself made individual sounds, but there were no words! During this period, I also experienced great grief in the family. This led to a severe depressive state. I am writing about myself because now I understand that my condition directly affected the development and condition of my child!!!
By the age of three, individual words began to appear (mama, papa, and animal sounds), but there were no phrases, much less sentences. We went to a neurologist, they wrote about a delay in speech development and prescribed vitamins. We continued to study at home, since the speech therapists we went to did not take us to individual lessons. My worries and anxiety grew every day, wherever I went, everyone wrote me the contacts of various neurologists and psychiatrists. I did not go to them, since I understood that medications would not help, something else was needed.
Starting from January 2023, Daniil suffered from severe infections again, which were accompanied by a rise in high temperature, IVs, hospitals… As a result, the child began to scream, was very anxious, shouted out different sounds, demanded everything with tears, could come up to any remark and hit his head against the wall and cry, because it hurt. It was impossible to go to the hospital, he was very afraid of “white coats”. The reaction to any medication was tears and phrases “don’t be afraid”, “it doesn’t hurt”, “don’t cry”.
There was constant tension in the family relationship. With my anxiety, fears and constant panic with tears, I brought the whole family into despair, especially my husband. Misunderstanding and conflict grew every day in our relationship.
I started calling all my friends and looking for help!!! I gave my child “diagnoses”, and this made it even more difficult for me. And my call to my good friend who once worked with children gave a result! She recommended that I contact the Institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Rakhmanov Vagif Mamedovich.
After the first stage, Danilo had a breakthrough in his development!!! All our friends and relatives saw it. Dania began to combine words into phrases from the third treatment procedure. Later, small sentences began: “Mom, look, a train is coming”, “Dad, turn on the cartoons with the remote control”. It was a breakthrough!!! On the 12th day of the first stage of treatment, to my question “What is your name?”, Daniil answered “My name is Dania”.
My son became much calmer, his hyperactivity went away, he stopped screaming loudly for no reason, he began to react to everything more calmly. He stopped banging his head if something was not the way he wanted. It became possible to go to the store with him and agree on something. He began to understand more addressed speech, at the everyday level, there was more understanding of requests to do something. There was also a breakthrough in self-service skills! Basically, he tries to do everything on his own (dress, put on shoes, pour himself some water, etc.). He sat on the potty (after the enterovirus, he was afraid to sit on the potty), we forgot about diapers!
There were also changes on the cognitive level. He began to focus on details, more understanding in mental activity, began to draw more, writes letters himself, there were many role-playing games, etc.
After the second stage, my son’s diary improved by 50%! This was an excellent result that we did not even expect! The pronunciation of sounds became clearer. The speech therapist was very surprised by the child’s breakthrough! More understanding in the material being studied, the complexity of tasks no longer scares Danya. He easily learns the material,
He himself shows interest in new things. He loves to have books read to him, his favorite is about space, he learned the names of the planets.
He developed a sense of humor, began to joke, play around and watch carefully the reaction of adults. A sense of shame has also appeared, he clearly understands what can be done and what is not desirable.
More and more sentences appear in his speech. He cannot get anything in the house by pointing a finger, the whole family makes him speak. This is the professor’s recommendation, we strictly follow it, and it gives an excellent result!!!
Now visits to doctors are calm. There is no screaming, he says hello, Danilo is absolutely not afraid of anything, lets himself be listened to, shows his throat. Previously, this was impossible, there was screaming and tears of fear. Even our pediatrician was surprised by such calmness of Daniil.
The fear of the sounds of an airplane, hair clippers and a nebulizer has gone!!! Now we walk calmly and a flying airplane does not scare him. We get our hair cut with a clipper without any problems, and do inhalations with a nebulizer when necessary!

In general, Danya has grown up, he has become less sick (he does get acute respiratory viral infections, but without high temperatures).
After the third stage – the results according to the diary are 75% improvement!!! The professor said – healthy!!! And I agree, because we really see a lot of positive things in the child’s development!
His behavior has completely changed. Danya has become patient while waiting for his turn; we walk outside, on the playground – he doesn’t run away anywhere, he listens, plays. He reacts calmly if he needs to go home (before there was constant screaming, protest).
He has an even better understanding of spoken language. Now we get an answer to all the questions asked of him. We have been waiting for a long time for the moment when our son would answer questions related to feelings. And this moment has come! Danya also began asking questions “Where is my mom?”, “Where is dad, why is he not at home?”, “Are we going to the kindergarten to see the kids?” etc. These are huge achievements for us!!! Before the third stage of treatment, there were no conscious questions… there were questions of repetition (echolalia). By the way, echolalia has almost completely gone away. There were manifestations during the period of exacerbation during treatment, but everything has passed.
The child’s games have become very diverse. We have now reviewed the toys, removed everything that is designed for a younger age, added a number of puzzles – age 5-6+, more construction sets, cars for role-playing games (special transport, transport for construction, cubes for towns, etc.).
Danya has no interest in phones. He prefers to play, draw, sculpt, put together puzzles, etc. We can turn on the TV, but very rarely. Sometimes he asks to listen to lullabies or watch about animals and insects. And before – it was just an addiction. He wanted to watch cartoons all the time.
Danya goes to kindergarten. He is in a regular group. After the third stage of treatment, my son began to communicate with other children. He says hello, hugs when he came after a break. Says “Goodbye” to all the kids when he leaves. He began to talk more and interact with the teacher, who also noted positive changes in the child’s behavior after the treatment.
During the classes, the performance indicators for all cognitive processes improved. Memory – remembers everything perfectly! Thinking – all thinking operations work: synthesis, analysis, generalization, etc. This was sorely lacking in the classes. Attention – concentration improved, he became more assiduous. Imagination – works at a high level! He became so inventive, deftly comes up with different plots, games, buildings, etc.
I also noticed that the fear of unexpected, loud sounds has completely gone away. Dania is not afraid of anything, and if he hears any sound, he just looks with interest and curiosity to see what it is.
And, of course, his speech has become even more understandable and intelligible. Little by little, he begins to build more complex sentences!
As for self-service – he does everything himself. And what a helper he is at the dacha! Together we planted trees, roses, removed old leaves, carried branches!
During our treatment with Professor Danilo grew up, matured, and most importantly – he is healthy!!! Sometimes he has a slight runny nose, but mostly healthy!!! Although we go to kindergarten, to additional classes, constant contact with children. For me – this is very important, since we have experienced a lot, now I don’t even want to remember it.
The fourth stage of treatment was not easy for our family. The beginning of treatment began with a strong exacerbation. Since Daniil was sick. In the first days, there was a feeling that old complaints returned, which we had long forgotten. But after the fifth day, the situation began to change for the better.
The main achievements of the fourth stage:
– no rollbacks, everything that Daniil achieved in the previous stages of treatment is still in force;
– communication with peers appeared, i.e. a real dialogue and interaction (this did not happen before). He began to remember the names of other children and address them by name;
– 100% understanding of spoken language, now any request is perceived by the son from the first appeal;
– memory has improved, he memorizes texts very quickly and can retell them, he memorizes poems and songs quickly;
– a story appeared about events that happened earlier, now Dania can tell a story that happened (this did not happen before);
– learning results improved, he learned to read words himself (so far he reads simple ones by 2-3 syllables);
– he can count to 100 and more without problems;
– distinguishes between the languages Ukrainian, English (knows many words and their translation);
– wears shorts and panties again (after the operation for an inguinal hernia, he did not wear shorts and panties, he tried to take them off, since there was a memory of the pain. The surgeon explained this by a feature of the central nervous system and neurosis). Now everything is great!
– he began to answer questions in full sentences. From the last one I asked “Danya, where have you been?” Daniil’s answer was “I went to watch the birds”. For us, these are huge achievements!!!!!
I underwent treatment with the Professor Rakhmanov. The results are that the anxiety and fears that had been tormenting me for a long time are completely gone. I have a feeling of optimism and faith in myself, in my strength, in my child!!!
No more apathy and weakness. Every morning now I feel cheerful, as my sleep has become deep and calm. Headaches (pot-shaped) have gone, my foot has stopped hurting, and I suffered from pain for a whole month, nothing helped!
And most importantly, my spine does not hurt!!! My back has been hurting for more than 20 years, I could not sit for a long time because of an old injury, I also have 2 protrusions in the lumbar region, every three months I had injections. Now I am fine. I have been living like a normal person for a whole year! I easily get out of bed, I can sit and work and my spine is fine, there is no pain. This is a real miracle for me!!!
I am very grateful to Professor Vagif Mamedovich for treating my husband. When we brought our son for treatment, my husband had a severe exacerbation of pancreatitis (pancreas). Also liver problems, heartburn, headaches, anxiety, neuropathy of the right hand (after a serious injury and surgery). After the first treatment procedure, the pain in the pancreas and stomach completely went away. This problem is gone!!! Just a miracle! Previously, he was examined in gastroenterological centers, they prescribed a bunch of drugs, but the result was always minimally temporary. Now he does not take pills and his condition is excellent!!! Anxiety, apathy are gone, his sleep has become better! Thank you very much to the professor!!!
The path to recovery of a child is difficult, but the main thing is faith and hard work! I still can’t believe that the first time he saw the professor, my child cried, screamed, was afraid of everything (medical uniform, gowns …) Now Dania runs to treatment with a smile, waits for the professor, and when Vagif Mamedovich enters the ward, he smiles, offers his hand to greet and says “Good morning, Professor!”
At the third stage of treatment, we got to know other parents better. DDSA method (dozed deprivation of sensory activity) was very productive. I am very grateful for such a friendly atmosphere and support!!! May God grant all our children good health!!!
